Pedagogical Resources

This website was originally established in 2012 by Leah Wingard and Stephen M. DiDomenico as a resource for scholars who currently teach (or wish to teach) Language and Social Interaction and related courses or who want to add these perspectives to their courses. It is updated periodically. Many thanks to those who have generously shared their teaching resources. Feel free to share your own LSI teaching resources (syllabi, assignments, reading lists, electronic resources and links) or share your perspectives on what still needs to be added by emailing Leah Wingard at: wingard@sfsu.edu

In an attempt to help users locate the different types of courses offered here, we have classified courses under broad categories according to the types of readings the course uses and the types of topics the course focuses on. Users will recognize that courses often fit more than one category and that student populations and course types vary widely. (Page Last Updated: 7-29-19)
